Last one in's a rotten egg!

I have tried blogging but not in earnest so I will try again. I am a retired High School Graphic Arts teacher and I have spent the last nearly 4 years trying to figure out what I am supposed to be doing during my retirement. I have tried fishing, boating, traveling, reading, woodworking, cabinet making, fixing computers, building computers, helping my friends with various things too numerous  to mention, yard work, going to movies with Ed, and ad nauseum. I have hooked up with many of my former students through Facebook and this has been nice and also revealing in as much as I had not thought of myself as a particularly memorable person. So I am memorable to many and this is good. I read a lot of book loaned to me by Ed so I am becoming much more of a history knowledgeable person. I like to work on little odd jobs around the house which is a good thing since home ownership pretty much require that. So maybe I am doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing in retirement. I may add some daily exercise to all that and voila, I will live until I am 100. I am sure that I am not the last one in this business of blogging and I don't know how long or how well I will do this but here I am.
